For most of 2009, Void hosted a tongue in cheek even at the Foundation in Detroit known as Breakcore Pancakes. We aimed to present music in a different context - during the day, as a background to alternative tech skillsharing, and with coffee. Of course all of this was happening alongside our other parties and events, making this one of the peak periods for Void Tactical in Detroit. This recording of Jstat is one of the best from those events, and oddly the only existing recording of any of Jstat's many excellent broken beat techno-electro sets from this period.
Now it's 2012 and Jstat is hot to make his comeback after almost 2 years of musical silence. So clearly, we're now very excited to make this recording available to the public as both a slice of our history and a look to what's in store.

7 tracks documenting the long standing Little Mack project of Josh Hedges. A mainstay of the Southeastern Michigan broken beat breakcore scene for over a decade, this album presents a progression of old and newer tracks as his style has grown up in the austere post-industrial midwestern America.
